Knit your own moustache for Movember!

Movember is here! If you can't sprout your own 'tache, knit one instead - here's a funky pattern just for you!

If you haven't heard of Movember yet, you'll probably be wondering why everyone you know - men and women! - have suddenly sparked an intense interest in growing (or making, for the follicly challenged) moustaches. By sporting a mo this month, you can help raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer.

We've had a go at knitting our own moustaches (because Sarah had a bit of trouble growing one that was up to scratch) following the Walrus and Handlebar patterns from Vicky Eames's Knit Your Own Moustache book. You can download your own Walrus moustache pattern from the Lovecrafts website, although if you want to sport some handlebars like Sarah you'll have to get a copy of the book.

To lend a hand this Movember, Crafty's currently running a competition to win a copy of Vicky Eames's Knit Your Own Moustache, a pair of 3mm needles and lots of lovely DK weight yarns from Black Sheep Wools, as well as a set of Knit Pro Wave crochet hooks to really see you on your way. We've got five lots of these prizes up for grabs so head over to ppjump.com/movember to enter.

And what's this! You've found another snowflake - congratulations! Follow this clue to see what else you find!

This little snowflake's been wrapped up in some rather lovely packaging, so you'd better find it fast or it'll just be a puddle of water when you get to where you're going!
