Tiny Owl Knits knit along: Sarah has a whole hat!

The knit along is going well - and now editor Sarah has finished the main part of her reindeer hat!

So how are you all getting on making your reindeer hat, designed by the oh-so talented Stephanie Dosen, author of Woodland Knits, blogger at Tiny Owl Knits (and Crafty columnist!)? I've been doing quite well and have actually managed to finish the main part of the hat, which I feel quite proud of.

Because it's just stocking stitch, it really doesn't take very long and it's definitely something you can do in front of the TV (which is very important for me when it comes to knitting, particularly if I'm doing it during the week after work when I get the urge to make something but don't really want to have to think too hard about what to do next).

I'm really pleased with how the hat is looking and the fact that it even fits my head when I try it on! I'm a little concerned about what the next week will bring as I can't decide whether to do the ears or the antlers first.

I've never felted anything before so may well leave the antlers until last, so I can read up on how best to go about it.

Don't forget to send me some snaps of your hats so I can see how you're all getting on. One step closer to absolute hat victory!

See you next week, everyone.

I used Artesano Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica to make my hat - and it's just a joy to knit with!
